A guy on Australian Idol is currently singing "Dear Mr President" and I nearly spit my drink all over my computer. He just said it wasn't as political and that it can be directed at multiple people, not just the President of the United States. :/

How is it? There's probably a Roman emperor or two that can fit it, but how "multiple people"? I'm intrigued by this.
