A friend and I cruised around town tonight with the Grease 2 soundtrack blaring out of the stereo, including "Reproduction".

Was this around Geelong? I find it very weird that there's someone else who listens to "Reproduction" without any irony whatsoever in Geelong.
Yes, it was in Geelong and we were entirely serious. That song is amazing in about a thousand different ways.
The last time I played at a party (which was about 2 years ago, mind), I played Michelle P's "Cool Rider" to a very appreciative crowd. There are no words to describe that kind of buzz.
If I were to ever program a guest spot on Rage, that would be my first clip choice.
We had "Cool Rider" playing too. Too much awesomeness.
Obviously your exquisite taste in film also extends out to musak.
