1942 was a really great year for movies, right? Just watched Casablanca and add that alongside The Magnificent Ambersons, Cat People, Bambi, Now, Voyager and The Phantom of the Opera which I have also seen from that year. Definitely my favourite year for cinema pre-1950. Especially the first two I mentioned, are brilliant A product. Although now there is indeed a new leader.
