Tightpants

So, I watched Slither last night. That was fun and enjoyable and had it's fare share of decent frights. I give it a B, which is funny cause it is the prime definition of a "B movie". I wasn't really liking it at the start. Felt too try-hard, but then the blood started to flow and it was good. And funny too. "Well now that's some fucked up shit!" But, what I'd like to discuss is Nathan Fillion. I never really got to see Firefly (I need to borrow those DVDs from someone), but I saw a few episodes, and I saw Serenity (also quite good) and now Slither... is it possible to enact a movie-making law that anytime Nathan Fillion shows up on screen he must be wearing really tight pants? Or how about no pants at all... or shirt. I know that would work for me... I'm sure all you Firefly..ians (???) would definitely vote for this law to be passed.

I get so sad thinking about Firefly and what could have been. I really had a hard time getting into the show at first; I couldn't even bother when it was airing on TV because of the way FOX mangled it, airing episodes completely out of order. Then I got the DVDs and forced myself through the first couple of episodes, out of Whedon-love, and slowly but surely, as with everything Joss touches, it completely won me over right around the middle of it's run, and then the end came and damn it all to hell that show deserved more time. The movie was a nice send-off though.

I can't believe I, of all people, made it through that much talking without getting around to the matter at hand - Nathan Fillion in tight, tight pants. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Heaven.

Yeah, Slither nothing fantastic, but it's fun. I want to go back and watch it again.

Firefly-ians are called "Browncoats". I'm a huge Firefly/Serenity/Joss fan but Browncoats still terrify me.

LOL. "Browncoats" sounds like they belong in a porno theatre. "The trenchcoat brigade" or something.

Ja, Serenity was eventually aired on tv here sometime in 2005 I think but it was on so late that I just figured I would watch the DVDs one day.
