So, with Final Destination 3, this franchise has wholeheartedly dumped any pretence of being a "thriller" and become a complete comedy. I sorta really really love Final Destination 2 and the original is pretty good too (remember when Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Kerr Smith and Seann William Scott were "it" actors. LOL!). I don't know why I like this franchise. It's actually probably because they relish being so warped, which I love in any movie. But now that we're all familiar with the game, it's essentially one big comedy, and it actually works. I mean, how freakin' hilarious was that chick getting, like, 20 nails to the back of the head?! Or the Chinese girl getting the spear in the chest!?! Or the athlete man getting his head squashed by a piece of gym equipment?!?!?! I mean, this stuff is GOLD! It reminds me of the Friday the 13th movies, which continuously tried to one-up each other in the crazy deaths arena. I sorta hope that they keep making these movies because no matter what the current trend is (whether it be ridiculous J-horror remakes or ultra-horror, or whatever) they will always have a place in my heart. I wanna keep seeing what absurd ways they can come up with to kill annoying teenagers who look way to old for their parts. B-
What was with the September 11 thing though? That was... unnecessary.
