Colour Me Unimpressed

I want my 83 hours minutes back, please. What a rank movie Colour Me Kubrick (2006, dir. Cook) is. Really. There is quite literally no plot in the entire movie. Well, nothing that extends beyond maybe five words ("man impersonates Kubrick, fools people") and it reminded me of The Grudge, strangely enough, in that it was just a collection of vignettes that start and end the exact same way every time. John Malkovich is embarassing as the Kubrick impersonator. And little touches that started out as amusing (the 2001 music being used as the character goes to the laundromat) becoming annoying and overbearing. Just a waste in pretty much every department. You Americans are lucky this hasn't been released over on your side yet. D
