Children of Men
Question. A- or B+?? Either way, Children of Men is excellent. Standout performance belongs to unknown newcomer Claire-Hope Ashitey as the "fugee" Kee. Technically great. Julianne Moore? How do you say "What the fuck?"
More later.

A- for sure, I was pleasantly surprised. It seemed like a movie that could so easily turn out to be bloated and boring but I really enjoyed it and the effects and the seamingly never ending shots blew me away.
The thing with the long tracking shots is that they're so seamlessly placed in that I didn't even notice them until the one during the uprising with the blood.
Oh. Your blog thing won't let me delete my first comment. Can you do it then? My spoiler wasn't well done and I don't want to give the film away. That would be mean.

Stale Popcorn, noun, 1. A veritable cornucopia of movie geekdom, celebrity worship, Australian film discussion and all with occasional musical interludes! All wrapped up in the salty buttery taste of movie popcorn that's been sitting in the box for too long. What's not to love?

I'm feeling more like giving it an A- for sure.
I was even close to tears at one point.
What's the "wtf" in ref. to Julianne mean? Is she great? is she terrible? Nevermind, I don't want this movie spoiled for me.
What is this upside-down world where you guys got this first, anyway? ;-)
it's a good and just world, Ja!
And the "WTF?" is in reference to something her character does that was really confusing cause it made no sense.
You'll see when you see the movie.
Is Julianne good in the movie?
My first "WTF" with in this movie was when I found out she wasn't playing the miraculous mother.
But then again, Julianne is in her mid-40's now, so I shouldv'e seen it coming that she'd be too old for that role.
Barry. Yes she is and that's all I'll say.
Adam, I'm glad she didn't play Kee. That'd be stupid. Claire-Hope Ashitey was really good though.
SPOILERS DON'T READ
I KNOW. When the thing happened Julianne I was almost expecting her to come back! The trailer made it look like she was as important as Owen! Liars!
Anywayz B+.
