Don't mind me...

This is me chucking a hissy fit about something y'all won't have a clue about. SBS are planning to put commercial breaks in their programming. This doesn't bother me so much if movies were going to be exempt but apparently they're not! Aagh. SBS and the ABC are the only networks that show movies ad free.

Ugh. Can you imagine watching Dancer in the Dark and having a commercial break after "I've Seen It All" or whenever.

Grrr.

and in docos as well - that's what really sucks.

sounds like you might be renting more movies instead of watching them on tv.

Well I don't think SBS would show Dancer in the Dark. But yeah, I get what you mean.

Netflix, man. Oh, wait, you're in Australia. I'm sorry, I really forgot about that for a sec. Do you get netflix there? If not, I apologize.

Adam, SBS is a network that airs all the arty type of movies. Dancer in the Dark has been aired multiple times. They show many foreign language films, particularly from Europe and Asia. That's why they're so good.

We do have Netflix type programs. And I am a member of one. But if a movie is on TV I'd rather watch it then than wait however long for BigPond to send it to me in the mail.
