Movies that went home empty from the major awards despite nominations - The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Capote, Crash, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Chronicles of Narnia, Syriana, The Beat That My Heart Skipped, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Yesterday, Peaches and Red Lights

And let us all feel sorry for Miranda July and Me & You & Everyone We Know which, despite being my #9 of the year, the film didn't manage to receive one single nomination. :( However, it did get a whole swag of nominations in the bonus categories, which I am NOT going to tabulate cause omg that would take FOREVER. So... yeah. Phew. Glad that's all over.
