Jindabyne. Saw the trailer for Ray Lawrence's (2001's excellent Lantana) Jindabyne at Hidden and this one looks very promising. Ray Lawrence is a great director, and his Lantana was a huge box-office hit. This one has a great cast too: Gabriel Byrne, Laura Linney, John Howard, Leah Purcell, Chris Haywood, Deborra Lee-Furness (the luckiest woman alive btw) and Charlies 'Bud' Tingwell.
It got accepted to the Cannes Director's Fortnight, so yay for Ray! If Jindabyne is anywhere near are good as Lantana I'll be super-happy. Now, I'm gonna go watch a movie.
