Abbie and those pesky snakes (again)

Great article at Sydney Morning Herald about up-and-coming Aussie actress Abbie Cornish. She won an AFI for Cate Shortland's Somersault and is next appearing in Candy alongside Heath Ledger, Geoffrey Rush and Noni Hazlehurst. Can't wait. I didn't know she was in Ridley Scott's A Good Year though! And she's also in the Elizabeth sequel alongside perrenial fave, Cate Blanchett. Awesome!

On other Aussie film stuff, Kokoda is out in 2 weeks. I hope it's good. We need a good film about Kokoda. Apparently the film is really great, so all signs are pointing to YES!
