But I agree that Toni needs to play her STAT. Why has no one important thought of this? She really would have the oscar in the bag. Done and done. If ever given the opportunity to do nothing but just show off big time, Toni Collette would knock them all over with her talent.
This really does need to happen. It's one of those PERFECT opportunities. We should all write in to the studios and demand it.

Shirley Bassey is the woman who sang the old Bond themesongs (Diamonds Are Forever and Goldfinger being the most famous) as well as having a musical career on her own rights.
The Shangri-Las were a 60s girl group much like The Supremes... just better. "Remember (Walking In The Sand)" and "Leader of the Pack" being their most famous.
Knowing Toni's luck they'd make a Liza biopic for TV, just like Judy Davis when she played Garland.
