"My Humps" was pretty much one of the worst songs ever recorded and brough into existence, right? Well, now, of all people, Alanis Morissette has done a cover of it! But it's hilarious. God, those lyrics are so stupid. Watching Alanis (bless her) take the absolute mickey outta Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas is sort of priceless. Enjoy.

Gawwd. It is one of the greatest quandries of the ages why "My Humps," with it's lyrical hellfire, is so damn enjoyable and such a hit. It's good in the music form of it, but the lyrics are (i think) purposely stupid, and it succeeds in it's stupidity. But you just can't help singing along after hearing it 100000 times.

Sometimes I just wanna shoot Alanis Morrissette in the foot. So that she can get really really pissed off and write another Jagged Little Pill.
So I'm late to this bit, but now I'll chime in anyway: I feel guilty now for all my Alanis albums having slowly migrated off my iPod for other newer music, and am going to put her right back on tonight, because that was freaking hysterical. I HATE Fergie and the BEP with the fire of a gagillion fiery suns, and refute your comment JD, that that song gets stuck in your head in any sort of likeable fashion. It's a scourge on humanity, and I'd punch Fergie in the face if she were ever within face-punching distance. So thank you, Alanis, and I will buy your new album whenever you have one.
