[Title Unknown Because My Brain Fell Out]

Okay, firstly, WOW. What a weekend. I've barely had any time to jump on the computer (although, I made time, because I don't function well without it *twitches*). And then there's been all that stuff going on my state with bushfires. It's like they're everywhere. I live in a big town (Geelong, home to Portia de Rossi omg), but we were engulfed by smoke yesterday. It was horrible and scary and I had to walk through it. It was like a big fog, but instead of being really cold, it was really hot. And just now we've got rain and thunderstorms and I think the world is ending and Al Gore (and possible Sharon Stone) is somehow behind it all.

Anyway. I'm a bad bad cinephile. Really. I am. I crumbled at the possibility. You see, I've seen 62 movies at the cinema this year (I counted my ticket stubs. It's 63 if you include the screening of All That Jazz that I saw). And so, at the thought of knowledge I don't think it makes my crimes that serious (I can't see everything y'all), but I feel sorta dirty.

I've been watching pirated DVDs. Ugh. I KNOW

My friends (Sandy and Cheryl) just returned from Bali and one thing that Bali is known for is cheap-assed DVDs. Usually they're, well, not quite stellar quality, but whatever. I've been surprised. There's been a few that I just couldn't watch because they were so poor (Step Up and Saw III, so maybe it's not that bad actually), but some of the others have been watchable bordering of decent (for illegal copies). World Trade Center and Flushed Away are the only ones I've watched so far. I was tempted to watch Babel but thought that's a movie I'd rather see in the cinema. But there's other titles that I can't be bothered seeing in cinemas (like The Beginning or The Omen or All The King's Men) and others that I wanted to watch again (Cars - in DVD quality - and The Devil Wears Prada).

I borrowed, like, 60 DVDs from about 150 that they had. LOL. Whatever. Now I don't need to pay to see Flushed Away (as visually stunning as it was) or World Trade Center (which'll be on DVD soon). But, whatever. You can't judge me.

I also randomly rewatched Terminator 2: Judgement Day ("Judgment" looks fuckin' stupid, alright, so Aussie spelling it is) and, yeah, it's still pretty much the most perfect movie you could ever hope to see. It's totally in my Top 5.

Now, I'm gonna go watch The Last Tango in Paris because it's randomly on TV. Ciao, bitches.
