One year ago Brokeback Mountain premiered in five cinemas for a weekend total of $547,425 and a per cinema average of $109,485. It would eventually go on to gross $83million in America and $178million world wide. It won three Academy Awards including Best Director for Ang Lee, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Score, but losing Best Picture to the film that shall not be mentioned. Lest we forget.

What are you talking about, Glenn? Brokeback won the Best Picture Oscar. And Heath won Best Actor and Jake won Best Supporting Actor and they made out on stage. IT HAPPENED I WILL NOT HEAR OTHERWISE.
