Wow! I mean, just... wow! The Black Dahlia is amazing! If there was a verbal expression for "!!!!!" then that's what I'd be saying right now. Now, don't get me wrong - The Black Dahlia isn't good in the way that other 2006 titles such as United 93 or Jindabyne are good. No. No siree, The Black Dahlia is good in the way that stuff like Showgirls is good. I'll write more later, but... wow. Somebody give Fiona Shaw, like, twenty-seven Oscars please.

Yes, it was quite enjoyable in a "this is a train wreck but oddly compelling nonetheless" sort of way. Mia/Fiona: I want to fit both into my Supporting Actress lineup, but can't decide on one over the other. Really, really weird movie. I gave it a "C+", but I want to see it again on DVD.
It deserves a C, I think, but I'm giving it a B+ because even when it was beyond bad it was still fascinating and stupendously entertaining.
