Nah, I'm pretty sure these three just had it in their contract that they be front and centre and nobody was to overtake that.
i gotta admit, those posters are pretty cool.
hudson's not a big enough name for a poster...but that has nothing to do with award potential...alright, it does, but anyways...no poster, means very little for hudson.

Yeah, the poster for Hudson doesn't bother me, but I still hate that they're not even putting her NAME on the poster.
I'm sure it's just a fame thing. And yes, maybe it was in their contracts. But come on, this is JAMIE FOXX (oscar winner), BEYONCÉ (recording superstar), and EDDIE MURPHY (comic legend). JHud is just not that famous. Not by a longshot. They are trying to sell tickets here. JHud on a poster won't sell tickets. Not like these three.
I don't care if she's not above the title with Jamie, Beyonce and Eddie, but something under the title would be fine.
And then in the trailer they go out of their way to point out that she is a very main character (all the action centers around her it seems) yet she doesn't rate a mention. Ugh.
