Count me in! JoBlo recently posted these new posters for Hollywoodland. Am loving the design and the taglines (individual tag lines y'all!) And, man, how great is it to have Diane Lane and Ben Affleck back in dramatic work. I love Diane Lane (I think she gave the 11th best performance of the decade so far) and I honestly like Affleck when he's not in crap like DareDevil and Gigli. I'm slowly wanting to predict Affleck for an Academy Award nomination. He's playing a famous person in a period film. But if the film plays more like a thriller than a drama, then I doubt it. Affleck's section of the film (flashbacks) seem to at least be more dramatic. And he's definitely got a sizable role considering they're making entire posters focused around him (unlike the trailer which barely showed him at all). Anyway, enjoy folks. Now, I'm off to bed. I need sleep.

I'm so thrilled to see Diane Lane doing something worthy of her talents (as much as I love her, I will NOT see Must Love Dogs).
And her poster is the best (obviously); I may have to buy it so I can worship in front of it.
Must Love Dogs was frustrating. I will never understand John Cusack and a romantic lead. Like, huh?
I did like Under the Tuscan Sun though (but that had Sandra Oh in it too and that's just too much cool for school), but really Unfaithful is where it's at. I'll be glad to see her using her acting chops for real this time.
