Vomitarium

I am nowhere near a fan of Dakota Fanning - in fact, I find her to be one of the most annoying pests ever. I hate her annoying voice and her annoying acting and her annoying face and her annoying desperation. If you're thinking "annoying desperation?" then y'all obviously haven't heard that she wants to be raped on screen just so she can win an Oscar - or, that's what her mother is saying.

This is quite possibly one of the most rotten and vile things I could ever imagine to watch. Who wants to see Dakota Fanning (who's ya know, 12) get raped on the big screen? Not me, that's for sure. The movie in question is Hounddog (one word) and just... ugh. It sort of makes me wanna throw up. I'm sure people like Charlize Theron didn't have a super happy fun time getting raped on screen and they're much older than Fanning, so I can't even begin to...

ew. First she'll steal your soul and then she'll stomp on it and make it give her an Oscar.

I hate her mom, not her... And they will probably "suggest" the rape, not actually show it (I hope).

But the whole thing is an excuse to get Dakota an Oscar so they'll try and do as much as possible to make that happen.

LOL.
This is both hysterical and disturbing!
I hate that kid, Shirley Temple never showed a boob to be a legend so why can't she get in her head the fact that she's a child! Not an old lady trapped in a kiddie body as she wants us all to believe.

Unless the subject matter is toned down, they'll certainly be an uproar surrounding the film's release. Anyone remember 1978's Pretty Baby, with 12-year-old Brooke Shields in the title role, as a girl forced into prostitution?

At least Baby had director Louis Malle and Susan Sarandon around to add some class- Dakota's a talented kid, but after reading the rape scene has actually been shot, this one sounds like Bleechh!!! to me. Don't see why they can't simply address the subject matter without explicitly showing anything graphic (and no matter how great Fanning is, if the rape is included, I don't see the Academy embracing the performance- I think it'll be too risky for the Oscars to honor Fanning or the film). If the film is released with the scene intact and the Academy does overlook the controversy, I'll be livid, particularly after they pussyfooted around Brokeback this year, thereby costing the film a Best Picture Oscar.
