The 2005 UMAs

I named my awards the Umas because if I were to have a statue it too would be tall, statuesque, golden and carry a sword. Except mine would also have impeccible hair and killer fashion sense and would be totally hot. And, if you want, UMA can stand for "Ultimate Movie Awards" or something equally lame like that. You already know the results of Picture and the acting awards for the most part, but it'll still be fun. I'm just gonna glide through them cause it's May y'all. And BTW, there are some categories have six nominees because I couldn't decide who to axe. Y'all just have to deal with it. :p

I must note that I have not seen the following movies that played somewhat of a part in the awards season:
Junebug
The Squid and the Whale
Kings & Queen
Happy Endings
Jarhead
Grizzly Man
The March of the Penguins
The White Countess

Fun! Though... it's somewhat ironic that you chose such a lame SFX pic for "King Kong" in Visual Effects. You really, really didn't like that film did you? ;)

Art Direction for "Corpse Bride" = OH YEAH. Burton's movies should take Art Direction as often and deservingly as Bergman's won Cinematography.

hahah, I actually think the picture from King Kong is from the video game! But it was late and I couldn't be bothered finding a better pic.

I liked Kong, just not that much, :P
