National Walk Safely To School Day(!)

Nathaniel's blog reminded me of Australia's own 'Day' (no we don't actually have a National Heath Day). For some bizarre reason, Friday was "National Walk Safely to School Day" which is a really odd kind of day but whatever. So in honour, here are my top 5 movies that revolve around walking!

1. The Wizard of Oz (1939, dir. Fleming & Thorpe)
2. The 39 Steps (1935, dir. Hitchcock)
3. Paris, Texas (1984, dir. Wenders)
4. Before Sunset (2004, dir. Linklater)
5. The Blair Witch Project (1999, dir. Myrick & Sanchez)

Honourable Mentions: The Lord of the Rings x3 and Before Sunrise

(I could've been way less strict though!) whatever.

Hah, that's great! I already know that you're not as enamoured of Gerry as Van Sant's other films, but it would have made a good selection for this list.

I'm thrilled to see Before Sunset and particularly Blair Witch on there, considering the latter film is still in the midst of a backlash. I loved it then, still love it now.

So you both loved "Blair Witch Project"?? Yes, there's still hope for humanity I see!!

That film was brilliant.

God yes! That's the scariest movie i've ever seen. I sorta never want to go camping ever again (not that I was ever a fan of outdoor camping before though, lol)

But, yes, every time I watch that movie I get freaked out like nothing else. soooo scary. That ending!!!omg!! It's in my Top 100 of all time. It should probably be #4 actually because Before Sunset is kinda hanging around the very end of that list.

Ali?

Elephant, A
Last days, B
Gerry, B-

So i do still like it, but yes that was a perfect candidate for this list. Alas...
