Haggis doesn't even think his own film deserves to have won. He's not a pompous asshole, I'll give him that, but what does it say when a director publicly says his own film was not as good as the frontrunner?
People are dumb.
It means they should take it back.
Like when Helen Hunt said she though Judi Dench should've won, masked men should've gone onstage and taken it from her and given it to Judi.
