I saw the movie in a theater with a fellow Mariah fan and roughly 7 more people (Going in I had assumed there'd be no one there).

Anyway, I actually thought the opening seen was very good (with her mother singing in the bar or whatever) but from there on, it was EXACTLY like you described. I LOVE Mariah's expressions in this -- LOL!

I actually do love some of the songs from the soundtrack ("Never Too Far" gets on my nerves though).Sidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16647511701225586270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19295440.post-77659437486016810542007-06-27T04:12:00.000+10:002007-06-27T04:12:00.000+10:00Speaking of bad movies, I have my list of the wors...Speaking of bad movies, I have my list of the worst movies of 2006 in my blog. :)Barryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14789811118238494036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19295440.post-86883686180306724012007-06-27T02:26:00.000+10:002007-06-27T02:26:00.000+10:00You gotta hand it to Da Brat though, she played th...You gotta hand it to Da Brat though, she played the role of Token-Black-Sidekick exceptionally well.

The commentary found on the DVD of Glitter is hilarious for all the wrong reasons. Particularly the touching tribute made by the director to 9/11 as a scene of the New York Skyline comes into view. I still think John Waters should do a Mommie Dearest type commentary for Glitter though. I can only imagine how much fun he'd have with it.Adem With An Ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13539798658335966794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19295440.post-89180595256881067412007-06-26T06:43:00.000+10:002007-06-26T06:43:00.000+10:00Glenn, I agree with you 100% on Glitter. It is funny though to see her wonky facial expressions.

Have you seen Wisegirls with Mariah?
