And you call yourself an obsessed devotee.

Your #1 is spot on - I own the DVD in my collection and STILL have not watched it again since the summer of 1999. Not kidding. That last frame especially is unbelievably terrifying.

But the lack of love for The Shining upsets me. It'd be a very close second if I were to make a list.DLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08145416792179912949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19295440.post-1161103578440442642006-10-18T02:46:00.000+10:002006-10-18T02:46:00.000+10:00I love The Shining but I find it more atmospherica...I love The Shining but I find it more atmospherically creepy than actually fully scary.

And yes Elm St is indeed quite funny, but something about it every time I watch it makes me fall into it's trap.Glenn Dunkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05424659636310160482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19295440.post-1161101079979787442006-10-18T02:04:00.000+10:002006-10-18T02:04:00.000+10:00Love YOUR list. THANK YOU.

I'm more afraid of cockroaches than anything else in this world, really, so maybe that explains my indifference to "Arachnophobia". I also thought "Nightmare on Elm Street" was a fabulous comedy (like "Carrie", though "Carrie" is better, and why isn't it here???)Javier Aldabaldehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00426828972109311760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19295440.post-1161096208542364072006-10-18T00:43:00.000+10:002006-10-18T00:43:00.000+10:00SAW? I Know What You Did Last Summer is a joke as well, and Hostel wasn't scary; it wasn't even as intense as it should have been considering what the characters were going through. Although I seem to like Eli Roth movies for whatever reason despite not finding and fear in them.

But Saw just bugs me because it's insanely overrated. And Saw 2 was pretty terrible, managing to bring down Saw a bit with it, which I guess is impressive in some twisted way.

Your list I like a lot more. The Blair Witch Project I found spooky but not scary, but it didn't deserve the backlash. It was an impressively done movie.

Anyway I have to get some sleep so I can get up early to do some uni work before heading it. Group projects suck. We have to pre-produce this short film, and the girl who volunteered to do the budget... she listed the props. Didn't factor in equipment, crew, anything like that. Just listed the props from the script and guessed how much they'd cost to buy. Sigh.Simon Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16367626794549120841noreply@blogger.com
